West Wildwood - Apparently there is a misnomer that police officers make "well over $50,000 a year." Yes, many of the older and/or ranking members do. But the vast majority of the young faces you see patrolling town make $30-$45,000 a year. Now, that does not excuse them taking advantage of free or discounted meals. But I know most tip on what the regular cost of the meal would have been. If a business wants to give them a discount, that is their choice. Putting up a fight just causes a scene.
