To the West Wildwood spouter about the police department: You have to remember, cheaper isn't always better. Sure, we can probably disband these guys and get Wildwood to take over the services for a bit cheaper, but I guarantee you that you'll never see a squad car in the borough unless it's for a service call. You have to look at it as a crime deterrent solely based on their presence. I think that although they may not have a large amount of calls for service, they do a pretty decent job for having such a "weak" chain of command.
