A toll into West Wildwood had been proposed before as part of the West Wildwood Comprehensive Reform Act (WWCRA) back in 1999. Also included in that proposal was widening the canal and adding sand at Diamond Point. I don't think anything other than the toll is being proposed by former commissioner Golden this time with the proceeds being used to promote electric vehicle use here in town.
