Someone should go up to the belfry and check on Quasimodo. For 50 years now like a well precession Swiss Watch the siren has gone off every day. You could set your watch for 11:58 am when it went off. Now people stop in their tracks and look skyward when there is silence. We need assurance that everything is ok in our town. Even when it did go off at different times of the day we were not sure why it went off but it was working. Please do not tear it down like most of the historic places in Wildwood.
