As a retired active duty and reserve US Coast Guard member, my statement on the relieving of Admiral Fagan has NOTHING to do with her being a woman. I could care less who my immediate supervisor is or who the Commandant is, as long as he or she puts the US Coast Guard and the US Coast Guards mission first, not gender neutral heads, and time-outs for recruit snowflakes who should never be in the military.
