In May of this year Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation that erases most references to climate change from state law. Maybe he thought if no one mentioned it, it would go away, like Trump with Covid 19. Btw, sea levels around Florida have risen 8” since the 1950’s. Florida is experiencing the hottest temperatures they ever had this year. The Gulf Coast is bracing for a catastrophic hurricane, its second in less than two weeks. This is what the people of Florida voted for, a climate change denier. I hope the people in Florida can get out of harms way and be safe.
