I've been sitting and listening around town and in the paper about the former commissioners idea of filling in the canal to make more room for houses. Does he have any idea of the amount of permits from the state that would be required & the canal is wetlands anyway! How about all the lawsuits from the people who no longer would have waterfront property? I'm sure they would all file suits. North Wildwood couldn't get permits to fill the beach in an emergency. What would make him think they would all this. And where would the 3 ducks that live in the canal go?
