I'm all for home security. The Ring Doorbell, a camera on a backdoor or driveway....but at what point do cameras on a property become illegal? Or do they? When a resident installs a commercial grade security camera on a boom (360 deg view), 1-2 feet higher than the peak of their 30'+house, maybe giving them an invasive vantage point to any home in a 2-3 block radius, there should probably be a law against it. Is there? If not, maybe something to talk about? Remote Commercial areas, gov't. bases, the Pentagon... sure. But neighborhoods? There oughta be a law...until then, pants on.
