West Wildwood

Congratulations to the Arizona DBacks. They played a great series but also a smart series. After being down 3 games to 2 their manager went to work and figured out how to pitch to the Phils. DBacks pitchers served up a steady diet of breaking balls, most of which were out of the strike zone but the Phils were swinging at them and missing badly. When they did throw a fast ball it was usually up and out the strike zone, the Phils either swung and missed or fouled it off. The Phils couldn’t lay off the junk pitches and it doomed their run to the World Series. Game, set and match.
