I visited family in West Wildwood Labor Day weekend. My daughter, 4, nearly died after tripping over a low bulkhead wall at the park at the end of Venice Ave. She fractured her skull on a pipe in the water there. Thankfully I was able to jump in the water and retrieve her before she drowned. That bulkhead is only 12" above the ground there. It is a public park and it is unsafe. That is an attractive nuisance that needs immediate attention. A fence or a rail should be put there to protect the public.
