West Wildwood

Alfred Park does have a stature of Neptune and WAS known as Neptune Park until 2011 I recall. Commissioner Golden passed a resolution to rename the park in memory of our late police chief, Alfred Fox. The park was not renamed Fox Park for two reasons. There is a Fox park already in Wildwood, and he didnt want people to think the park was being named after then Mayor Chris Fox. Al had a great vision of what he wanted the department to be and is sadly missed. Now you know the rest of the story
