West Widwood - West Wildwood OPRA records indicate that the new police car for the police chief was leased and will cost taxpayers $29,957 over the next three years. The borough will have to return the car at that point because it is leased, not purchased. A free car for the police chief who does not patrol and who, according to the official 2017 borough calendar has eight police officers, one for every one-eighth mile, the town is only seven-eighths mile long. Is this not a bit much?
