West Cape May - While the majority of the blame at West Cape May Elementary can be laid at the feet of Superintendent Alfred Savio, the school board and Maureen McGonigle also need to be held accountable. The board apparently didn't question the superintendent when he kept admitting choice students. Savio and McGonigle work together on the hiring and firing of teachers which is why so many veteran teachers are gone, and the board sits by and questions nothing.
