West Cape May - I cannot understand why the mayor is cherry picking streets and certain residents of West Cape May while neglecting other long time residents with small lots. I am a long time resident and love the area for open spaces and wildlife. I would hate to see the area overdeveloped. In years gone by, no one wanted to live near the "swamps" and the area was mainly populated by minorities who were largely ignored. Now the area has been "discovered" and is valued for "the wetlands." I cannot understand how city sewer was allowed to build a halfway house on 5th Street directly adjoining.
