West Cape May - To the Cape May spouter who suggested the city not waste money on signs for the mall, why not change all stop signs to yield, remove speed limit signs, and one-way signs. There is virtually no enforcement of these traffic laws. Perhaps some "revenue enforcement" efforts could enhance the revenue for both the city and West Cape May. Remember, 50 percent of the actual fine goes to the local municipal treasury only if a local officer writes the ticket. The rest goes mainly to the state treasury.
