As a registered Republican, I think all the hand-wringing over Trump may be unnecessary since his repeated positions favoring Planned Parenthood and expanding Medicare and Medicaid would definitely appeal to many independents and Democrat voters. All he needs to do is tone down his language and confrontational style.
