We were down our summer residence on 117th street for Easter. Discovered the local VFW is applying for a private club license. Please 117 st is a major arterial for construction vehicles , in morning and night along with locals entering and exiting Stone Harbor using the southern bridges. This a a very heavy used street daily between Second and Third Avenue daily. With the scheduled closure of the 96 th street causeway bridge for two years it will soon become one extremely high traffic area. Please do not approve a bar and add to our concerns. Children play up and down this street.
