We were at the Avalon AHLOA meeting today and appreciated library director Erin Brown's informative and detailed talk about the proposal for the possible relocation and improvement of the library (and the many positive benefits for community and school). A pleasure at a time when so many overreact to rumors without information! We are however upset about the news of water overuse in Avalon for private irrigation. This seems to be a problem for the local government best handled by not permitting large-scale irrigation-depend landscaping of new homes. Don't put this on those with a few plants!
