Villas - When in college we had an assignment to study and interview families that had a close relationship with extended family verses no relationship with their extended family.The young people that lacked contact with grandparents,aunts,uncles,cousins etc.,appeared angry and distant and had a lack of self worth.The close extended families were happy caring individuals,ready to take on the world.If your separated by miles a phone call can make a difference on a weekly basis.
