Villas - What exactly is boba tea? I’m curious to try it but kind of reluctant because I don’t know if you are supposed to eat the floating black balls that is in the tea or are they just there for flavor?

Boba tea, or bubble tea, is a Taiwanese cold drink made with tea, sweetened milk or other flavorings, and balls or “pearls” of tapioca. Yes, you are supposed to eat the pearls. Enjoy!
