Villas - Security cameras are a deterrent against crime, and they are not illegal. Just like a criminal is less likely to commit a crime in the presence of a cop with a gun, so is anyone less likely to be doing something untoward, or illegal on or around a property equiped with Security Cameras. They are also useful to law enforcement...just like the time the police played-back footage (from my living room) to identify, and locate, within seconds, a suspicious vehicle, found blocks away! Anything in "plain view" is fair game, and not private. If you're buying a home, look before you leap. It's on you.
