Villas - Schools need to resume teaching cursive writing. Through cursive writing, personality develops. Hand-eye coordination develops. It stimulates the brain. It also enables students not to only read our nation's most revered documents in their original, elegant script, but numerous other documents written in cursive. Watching old movies, many a time a character has written a letter or note in cursive. See how much your students will miss out by not learning this vital skill? Cursive could also be considered a language, and for that reason, should not be omitted from the curricula.
