Villas - More bad news about backyard chickens. If grain is spread around it attracts scavenging birds like gulls and geese and crows and magpies. They share and spread avian flu, H5N1. 100 million birds have had to be destroyed because of it.
Moderator's Note:
The chickens I know don't leave grain around long enough to attract gulls, etc., but maybe town chickens are slow and lazy?
