Villas - I'm sick and tired of kids coming to school sick and spreading illnesses to other students. Why is this allowed? How can a student concentrate on school work if they are ill? Does the school nurse follow up, when there is a sick child, with the doctor or parents to make sure this student is not coming to school with a contagious illness? Sick kids are also susceptible to contact other illnesses if they are in a weakened immune state, which happens with a person that is already trying to fight off an infection. A child is now at risk of getting pneumonia, flu, or any other serious illnesses.
