Villas - I let my kids sit in my car instead of allowing them to stand out in the rain waiting for their school bus, even if it makes me get out of my warm bed, because that's what a caring parent does. I noticed two cars in the driveway of a house where some kids live who constantly stand out in the rain. I asked the kids if they wanted to sit in my car to stay dry, but they said no, that their mom would get mad, as she'd think they asked. I wonder how she would feel if she had to stand outside in the cold and rain, knowing that a family member didn't care. I think I'll buy them umbrellas and gloves because I do care.
