I hate the term "human resources," or "HR." I would like to see

Villas - I hate the term "human resources," or "HR." I would like to see us go back to "personnel." That title said what it was about, people, not "resources" to which a company felt itself entitled to avail itself, with little or no regard for the individual person. "Human resources" reduces people to a commodity to be used, abused and discarded at will. "Human resources" denies that each person is a created being, with individual, unique talents and gifts to share with other people. How do you feel about being your employer's "resource?"
