Villas - I grew up with a drug-addicted mom. I always wondered why everything my grandparents got for me disappeared. She would make up reasons to take away my gifts, which caused me to become angry and frustrated, because she would say it was to teach me a lesson. I didn't know what lesson I was supposed to be learning, because I didn't do anything wrong. As I got older, I found out she was selling my gifts for drug money. I still hold on to my anger, and I feel bad for kids who are going through the same thing. I was never able to enjoy my childhood because of her.
