Villas - Have you noticed the clusters of cigarette butts on our properties, streets, sidewalks, beaches, playgrounds and other public places? Cigarette butts are the single most littered item, more than paper or plastic combined. They are also among the most harmful for our environment and the most difficult to clean up. If you litter cigarette butts, you should be fined. Lower Township needs to bring down the hammer on littering. This is an anti-litter issue, not an anti-smoking issue.
