Villas - Don't be fooled by all the noise being made by the new governor regarding his plan to allow NJ residents to donate part or all of their property taxes to a charity. New Jersey has always been a state with a high cost of living. I've lived in this state for almost 25 years, and it's only gotten more expensive. The reason NJ has such a high cost of living comes down to a reluctance on the part of the legislature, governor and municipal boards to make better choices as to how they spend our money. They seem allergic to saving money. Here in this quid pro quo state, there are many hands out.
