Villas. - To the Avalon spouter who wants cameras in classrooms: it would be a major violation of FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). Families and students have a right to privacy. The public does not need access to observing student/teacher interactions. Why? To compare your kid to others? To watch all the accommodations made for students with IEPs? I don’t get it. So much nastiness regarding teachers. No wonder so few are staying in their jobs.
