When a woman starts carrying a purse she is usually very protective about it. We don’t leave it on the empty seat next to us at a movie theater. We don’t leave it in a shopping cart and walk down the aisle. We don’t leave it on the front car seat when going into the gym and we don’t leave it hanging somewhere where someone can just grab it and walk away. That would be the same as a man leaving his wallet unattended and then complaining when it’s left on a car console with the windows down while running into Wawa. It’s called keeping your important personal items secure.
