A spouter from Del Haven/Phila. complains about not having city water and ruined washing machines: We live in Villas and were promised city water in 2015. We will be lucky to have it in 2016. A mandated fee of $1,600 must be paid to the MUA of Lower Township. We must get city water, no choice. The MUA governs themselves and township council, mayor, attorney and manager have absolutely no control over their regulations. The homeowner must also pay for a plumber to run the water to the home, an additional $1,000 or more. Potable water, a necessity to live. Natural gas? Free hook-up!
