On a regular basis there are spouts about code enforcement / L&I. I contribute to them as well, but I also raise the issues with the office directly. I think with the Herald's help, some of these issues may receive more attention if there was a means to submit a brief narrative of the issue with a picture. They can choose to publish as they see fit or just make it part of their online content. At a minimum, the office should send a press release of the actions and resolutions taken on a weekly basis. The issue I raised persisted for three months, they considered closed after sending a letter.
