Re: spout on dropping test scores. It was recently published that US students scored far below “exit exam” scores of students in European countries. I am now a retired teacher and several years back, our principal (much to the disgust of teachers) eliminated final exams. His move was to make a stat that would look poorly vanish rather than try to boost student achievement. You can’t compare what doesn’t exist. Again, the teachers were against this move.
