Obama and the Democrats are determined to close Gitmo at all costs because they argue it inspires the terrorists to attack us. How do they explain the Iran hostage crisis, the 1983 Marine barracks attack, both World Trade bombings, the USAF barracks bombing, the Cole attack, the two embassy bombings in Africa, and the numerous other attacks in the west when there was no Gitmo? The Democrats will employ virtually any excuse to avoid defending us.
