With the national debt reaching crisis level, part of it due to exploding food stamp use, why not employ the same system we used during the Korean War? We ate powered eggs, milk, dehydrated potatoes, onions, powdered soups, canned vegetables, and we were doing something useful for our nation, like defending it. Do the people on food stamps today think they are too good for what we endured?
