As Labor Day approaches, the summer season is winding down, as is the growing season for weeds. I wonder how many notices or other forms of contact were made with property owners for both inhabited and vacant lots this summer. Based on the conditions I see, not many. On Bayshore and E. Bates, a vacant lot has a 30' dead tree at the street line with 4' of growth going into the street that causes cars to go into opposing traffic. The lot overall is overgrown and not maintained as well. The church sign on the property just draws more attention to this eyesore.
