It has always been a stretch for a working family to visit a dentist, but now it is almost impossible. Working people today can't afford a $100-$200+ introductory visit, or $100 fillings or cleanings, or thousands of dollars for root canals or extractions. All the dentists in this county have apparently gotten together on the prices they charge, because you can't find truly affordable care on minimum wage.
