I think the Editor misunderstood the Spout-off about the re-gifting and giving back old gifts that were given by the worker years ago to his customer. The worker does not have a bad attitude toward his customers. He would just rather not get a gift at all than to have his rejected gifts re-gifted back to him.
Moderator's Note: If that be the worker's meaning and desire, the worker might adopt a mutual no-gifting policy with his customers, to alleviate potential embarrassment or disappointment.
