I see now that on retirement forums for 55-plus and retirees, posters are saying stay clear of Villas and Wildwood for your retirement years. Nothing but disappointment will happen to you. Drugs, absentee landlords are at an all-time high, crime, rundown homes, trash, and nowhere safe to walk on Villas and Wildwood streets. Retirees are moving to Delaware, NC, SC, etc. Posters as far as Elizabeth City, N.C. say they moved out of Villas because it has become so rundown. And here we are worried about how we can please the tourists, instead of the locals. What a crime!
