I feel sorry for all the kids stuck in their homes that have parents with issues such as being bipolar, drug addicted and alcoholics. I grew up with parents that had issues with all three. My life was a living hell and I was in fear of my safety every day. I hope that someone is checking up on these kids. Usually dysfunctional families are already in the system but I doubt that they are even visiting families due to the virus outbreak. Also if their cases were closed, that probably won't be happening. Sadly older kids will run away from the abusive situation, and will not consider this pandemic.
