Good enough to die for freedom, but not good enough to participate for freedom. This statement is tongue in cheek in that the power brokers in the Republican Party have organized around making a mockery out of democracy and what it is to be free. Does the party control candidates, or is it the voters who matter? The Democratic Party is more of the same! Whatever you were taught in civics class, throw it out the window and say America is a window dressing for everything but a republic/democracy. The founding fathers warned us about the party system and they were right.
