Do not put a loved one in a nursing home ever, some are basically there to pass on while being robbed of there Medicare and life savings, get a home health aide instead, most insurance plans will pay for it and they can stay in their own home. No matter what anybody tells you, they are not getting proper care. CNAs are forced to take care of up to 12 residents at a time and that's all the state requires, it's mentally and physically exhausting, causing more call outs and the facilities being understaffed, and it's putting your loved ones at risk for not proper attention.
