As an American when Russia started the war against Ukraine most Americans thought this was terribly wrong. The US was willing to help them out along with other countries as a humane thing to do. Putin wanted to control Ukraine, gee wonder how Trump thinks when he wants Canada, Gaza, just like Putin and goes against Ukraine.
