Prior to having automated trash trucks, Upper Township Public Wo

Upper Township - Prior to having automated trash trucks, Upper Township Public Works had three men on every truck. Now they have one person per truck. Why does current payroll nearly mirror that of the one prior to the automated trucks? Upper Township has reduced employees, but not in the Public Works Department. They have continued to employ seasonal employees. Why are we buying used, rear-loading trash trucks, citing high maintenance costs of our also used trucks? Why do we even need rear-loading trucks if we have automated trucks?
