Upper Township - Parents concerned about gender identity in younger grades can rest assured that in grades K-2, it isn’t even mentioned. Discussions on gender are broken down into stereotypes- for example- boys are doctors, girls are nurses. Boys are good at math- girls are better at reading. What a wonderful thing to have these connotations discussed at a young age. No child should ever feel limited to a career path, interest, or activity due to their gender.
