Upper Township - It's a disgrace that the pipeline to the B.L England power plant was approved because Christie replaced someone on the Pinelands Commission that dared to vote against with a yes man. We don't need the power plant. It is my understanding that electricity demand is declining and other new plants are coming online. Electricity doesn't have to be produced here. The pipeline could easily leak and also lead to overdevelopment. Upper residents only want the plant because it pays their taxes, not because the plant is actually needed.
