I see where our Upper Twp officials are calling for State Polic

Upper Township - I see where our Upper Twp officials are calling for State Police help at Parkway and Roosevelt Bld entrance..Why State Police ? Why doesn't Upper Township have their own Police Force like other communities their size? An Upper Township Police Force is long overdue given the growth of the Township and for life of me I don't understand why they don't. A Township Police Force may even help get control of the illegal drugs being sold in theTownship. BUT I doubt there are any politicians with the intestinal fortitude to get involved but Township needs a Police Force and needs it quickly
