Upper Township - I’ve heard similar stories about the U Boats off NJ. They sunk a huge number of our ships during the war. Many oil tankers were torpedoed and countless lives lost. All before the coast inhabitants blacked out their lights which help illuminate the ships. People today have no idea what went on years ago.
