Upper Township - America’s earliest settlers learned that the principles of socialism lead to economic disaster and personal suffering, with Plymouth's first form of government, the Mayflower Compact. This colony did not try to perfect socialism, they abandoned it for private ownership and free enterprise. They survived and experienced prosperity with their surpluses. These people figured this out in under a year. So what is our problem today? I think a revised history is being taught in many institutions.
